Fan Engagement App Launches

Fan engagement for Detroit Titans fans at the University of Detroit Mercy just got a big boost with a new fan engagement app for students and community fans.

Detroit Titans Join as Founding Member of Fantelope

The partnership between Fantelope and University of Detroit Mercy allows Detroit Titans fans to Grow Their Horns and show they are the biggest fan of #DetroitsCollegeTeam. And in the process fans can win some great prizes too.

The University of Detroit Mercy sponsors 19 NCAA Division I-level varsity sports teams. Men’s and women’s Detroit Titans teams compete in each sport in the Horizon League, except for lacrosse with is the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference for men’s and Atlantic Sun Conference for Women’s.

Fantelope helped the Detroit Titans Athletic Department kick off the school year by showing incoming freshman how to download and use Fantelope to engage with Detroit Titans and earn prizes and bragging rights.

Fans Complete Challenges and Earn Prizes

With the new fan engagement app fans can earn points for sharing on Twitter, watching Detroit Titans videos, checking in at home or away games and visiting sponsor locations. Fans can win some great prizes too including gameday experiences, gift shop coupons, free concession items and more.

Fan Engagement & Community Involvement is the Goal

“We are honored to have the Detroit Titans on board as our first university client.” said Fantelope CEO, Derek Mehraban “Jeremiah Hergott, Mitchell Sweet and the whole athletic department are top notch. And they have some great fans in Detroit. Our job is to keep the fans coming back and to use Fantelope to increase attendance, raise awareness, and enhance community involvement.”

Horizon League Up Next for Fantelope?

Fantelope believes the Horizon League is a perfect league to use Fantelope for fan engagement and plans to work with teams like Oakland University, Valparaiso University, Cleveland State, University of Illinois Chicago and more to get them signed up and using the new fan engagement and competition platform.

“Once more teams get on board, we can compete as a league to see who has the most passionate fan base” said Mehraban. “For now the Detroit Titans are in the lead for the Horizon League, but we’ll see what happens when more teams Join the Herd.”

Tommy Titan Challenges You to Join the Herd

Fantelope is a FREE mobile sports app for Sports Fans. Fantelope is available on the IOS App Store and Google Play Store. On Fantelope, users complete challenges to earn points and “Grow Your Horns.” In addition to bragging rights, fans can redeem point for cool prizes.
